About Us
Our Purpose
We engage in church planting, discipleship training, and rural development projects across the world. We emphasize proper cross-cultural training and contextual research to carry out effective evangelistic missions.
Our Aims
- To proclaim the undiluted message of the Gospel of Our Lord Jesus Christ to all unreached people groups.
- To act as an information clearing house and seek to work together with churches and Christian organizations to reach the masses for Christ.
- To train the individual Christian in carrying out the work of the ministry.
- To give the Western Christian the opportunity to share his/her skills and talents cross-culturally, and to participate in rural development projects designated by non-western church bodies.
Our Objectives
- Reaching the unreached people groups with the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ – Mark 16:15.
- Training national leaders in church planting and church growth – Matthew 28:19,20; Ephesians 4:11-16.
- Linking Western Christians and national leaders in evangelistic, discipleship and rural development projects.
- Mobilizing zealous Christians for cross-cultural summer and short-term missionary endeavors.
- Publishing cross-cultural evangelistic magazines, periodicals and books for educational purposes.
Our Strategy
We focus on three key areas to achieve our mission:
- Evangelism & Church Planting: Rather than replicating Western church models, we empower nationals to establish missionary churches within their own cultural contexts. We achieve our church planting goals through methods like Open Air Evangelism, Literature Evangelism, Friendship Evangelism, and Film and Media Evangelism.
- Discipleship & Church Growth: We are dedicated to training Christians for ministry through seminars, symposiums, and conferences on discipleship and cross-cultural communication. We also publish contextual discipleship and educational curriculums.
- Rural Development & Community Sustainable Development: We support nationally designed development projects that foster sustainable communities. These projects include initiatives like rural clinics, water conservation, community agriculture, poultry breeding, and fish farming.
Our Structure
Our members are born-again Christians who have completely committed themselves to the Lordship of Christ and confess Him as their Lord and Savior (II Corinthians 4:5). Such believers can come from any nation, race, or denominational background.
We emphasize indigenous, autonomous governance for each field and sending base, following our organizational guidelines. Therefore, each new field and church, once duly established, has full control over its own affairs. As the national church develops, decisions are made by both national and Western missionaries. However, responsibilities shift as soon as possible to the national leaders, limiting outside control. The partnership principle must prevail over a paternalistic approach.
Our financial policy is based on a simple reliance on God. It’s grounded in the individual’s call and commitment to trust God for the supply of every need (Matthew 6:33; Philippians 4:11-13). Adherence to these basic financial principles allows the work to progress without regard to a budget. Those on home outreach trust God to supply their needs on the same basis as their overseas counterparts. This ensures that all monies given to overseas outreach go directly and fully to the person and purpose for which it was given.
