On Saturday, 19th August 2023, Link International Ministries, through her education arm, the Advanced Community Education Services (ACES Canada), graduated 40 students who had successfully completed her two –week off-campus certificate program in Administrative Management.
The graduation/certification ceremony was the climax of the training which had begun on Monday 7th August. The event held at Wordforce Christian Center in the city of Umuahia, Abia State Nigeria, and it was witnessed by friends, well wishers and family members of the graduands. It is worthy of note that the participants were drawn from all walks of life: pastors, teachers, politicians, civil servants and so forth.
The courses handled in the program included: Foundation for Effective Management, Foundation for Leadership, Team Work and Team Building, Sharpening Your Communication Skills, Life and Time Management, Financial Intelligence and Integrity, Conflict Management and Change Process Management.
The former Vice Chancellor of Abia State University, Professor Mkpa Agu Mkpa who is our National Consultant, was present in the occasion to charge the graduands to be worthy ambassadors of the institution, before ultimately handing them their certificates.
Ambassador Paul Ndukwe, the Executive Director of Link International Ministries, Canada led other resource persons in facilitating the training albeit virtually via Webinar. Those who were onsite included: His Grace, Most Rev. Dr. Raphael Opoko, the Methodist Archbishop of Umuahia; Mr. Mike Nnaji, Chartered Accountant/Economist; Dr. Sam Iheanacho, Leadership expert; and Pastor Stanley Ukpai who is the Registrar of the Institute.
The testimonies of the students were quite remarkable. In the words of one of them “I have attended several trainings but this one is different. It isn’t just about imparting you with proficient knowledge but it also stirs you up spiritually for the task ahead.”
